Etsy Natural Healers Guild Monthly Blog Question

Starting this month of June, I "Andrea" (shop owner of Storybook Artifact and also one of the awesome leaders of this fabulous team) have decided to create a monthly blog question (or MBQ) to help bring members and non-members to the Etsy Natural Healers Guild blog to join in on comments that play along the topic of "health".  I personally have always loved talking about health, and enjoy the ideas and opinions of others even if I do totally agree, partially agree, or not totally agree on all thoughts shared; nonetheless, I enjoy the candor and look forward to a friendly fun experience with all who choose to join in on answering the blog question of the month.

This Month's Blog Question: (is found below in bold print)

What Are Your Favorite Teas?

Be specific, be brief, or be creative ... I'll be the first to comment below. :-)

  2. Oh, and of course my Shakespeare Tea Blend (I featured a picture of it in blog post), which is absolutely decadent. A sweet and savory blend of a floral masterpiece; Shakespeare wrote it best. ;-)

  4. Oooh, I work at Akins Natural Foods Market, and I love the way the boxes of Numi tea look...specifically their flowering teas; BEAUTIFUL (never tried any of them though). Thanks for the recommendation Amber Dawn!

    My favorite teas are:

Storybook Artifact's Shakespeare Tea! Yes, it is decadent...along with delicious, comforting, and it has a soothingly rich flavor with hints of floral notes...Absolutely SPECTACULAR...my husband likes it too. ;-)

Many of my customers from my Etsy shop "Eco-Friendly Freckles" call my Magnificent Malaysian Dried Kratom Leaf Powder a "Miracle Tea"; I must agree, the sense of well-being, energy, and pain-relieving properties of this tea are amazing. I particularly like to take this tea when I am menstruating because I find that it helps relieve my cramps. I suggest drinking it hot with honey because the herb is a bit bitter, but it has a delightful "fresh", "green" flavor.

I love Yogi Tea's "Kava Stress Relief" Tea. I like to transform this tea into a calming chai tea by adding extra kava root powder, cinnamon, and either cream or coconut milk. ;-)

PASSIONFLOWER!!! Perhaps my favorite herb; I love to make my own tea blend with passionflower, licorice, and peppermint...Mmm, divine!

  5. I would have to say peppermint is my all time favorite. I love combining it with Astragalus in the winter time.

For a good cleanse and morning drink I like burdock root and dandelion. They compliment each other well and the dandelion gives the burdock a little spice flavor.

  6. Sounds nice ShamanShack! I've never tried Astragalus...I'll have to try it blended with peppermint! Yes, burdock and dandelion are so very cleansing...I've used them both with beet leaves in a beef and vegetable stew once; called a "Moon Stew". It was delicious and detoxifying! ;-)
